Creating a backup
Learn how to create your first backup, and how you can trigger backups later.
Before Duplify can start creating your automatic daily backups, you need to run your first backup. This initial backup captures your products, themes, and pages so Duplify has a starting point to work from.
The process only takes a few minutes, depending on your store size, and once it’s done, your daily backups run automatically in the background.

Set up your first backup
Before Duplify can back up your store automatically, you need to run an initial backup.
This first backup may take a few minutes, depending on your store size.

You can view and manage these backups anytime from the Backups page.
Trigger a backup manually
Backups run automatically every 24 hours, and you can also manually trigger one additional backup within that period if needed.
Steps:
From the Duplify app navigation, click Backups.
Click Backup now.
The backup begins, and you can review the backup when it's finished.
