Products
Learn how to export Shopify products with Duplify.
Duplify exports all products from your source store, including descriptions, images, variants, pricing, organization, status, tags, SKUs, vendor, SEO information, and any associated metafields or metaobjects. This allows you to replicate your full product catalog in destination stores without rebuilding it manually.
Exporting products with Duplify
When you select the Products option in Duplify:
All products from your source store are exported to your destination store.
Each export includes product details, variants, images, and metadata.
You can choose to include metafields and metaobjects using the checkboxes.
Options
Status: Set the published state of products in the destination store after export. You can inherit the status from the source store, set products to active, or save them as draft.
Export behavior: When matching products exist in the destination store, choose to create new products, update existing ones, or ignore them.
Product filters: Use filters to select specific products or groups of products to export. Filters can include date ranges, product types, tags, or other criteria.
Auto-sync: Turn on Auto-sync to automatically carry over modifications, deletions, or new products from your source store to your destination stores. By default, Auto-sync is off. Learn more about Auto-sync.
Example
If your store sells a T-Shirt with multiple variants, images, and tags, then exporting products with Duplify transfers all product data, including variants, images, and associated metafields, to your destination store. If auto-sync is enabled, then any future changes to the product automatically update in the destination store.
Export Events
Duplify tracks export events to determine the size of your store’s export. Each event represents one data item or file.
Product export events
Each product exported counts as one export event, including all variants and associated images.
When auto-sync is active, any new, changed, or deleted product counts as one export event toward your auto-sync event limit.
For a full overview of how Duplify counts export events, see our Export Events reference guide.
