Shop Metafields
Options for exporting Shopify Metafields with Duplify
Shop Metafields are the custom metafield definitions you've added to your shop. These definitions act as templates that specify what part of your store a metafield applies to and what values the metafield can have.
Select this option to enable a full export of all the metafield definitions added to the source store. Duplify will export these metafield definitions to the destination stores.

Other export options in Duplify allow the values stored in these metafields to be exported. This export is focused on the definitions.
Shop metafields are defined in the Shopify Settings under Custom data:

This metafield definition is a product metafield used for upselling products. Duplify will export all the details for each of your definitions.

Definitions and Values
Once a metafield is defined, you can store values in it. For example, in a product upsell scenario, individual products can be linked with additional products to enhance an upsell promotion. These values are stored within the product itself.
When selecting your export options in Duplify, choose the individual metafield options to export values for products, collections, customers, orders, and blog posts.

Export Events
Duplify determines the size of your source store's export by tracking export events, each representing one data item or file.
Your selected plan provides a specific number of monthly export events. Each plan offers a generous amount of points for export events. See pricing and plans for more details.
Be sure to check out our detailed reference guide for a complete list of all export events.
