Redirects
Options for exporting Shopify redirects with Duplify
Shopify redirects let you guide visitors from one URL to another. They are especially useful when you change a page’s URL, ensuring that users and search engines can still reach the correct page. Redirects help maintain smooth navigation on your store and prevent broken links after updates or renames.
You can manage redirects in Shopify under Online Store > Navigation by selecting View URL redirects.
Exporting redirects
When you select the Redirects option in Duplify:
All redirects from your source store are exported to your destination stores.
Redirects are exported as complete items, not individually by URL.
Redirects example
If you rename a product page from /old-tshirt
to /new-tshirt
, it creates a redirect so visitors using the old URL are automatically sent to the new page.
Exporting redirects with Duplify move this redirect to your other stores, ensuring the old URL still works everywhere.
Export Events
Duplify tracks export events to determine the size of your store’s export. Each event represents one data item or file. Your plan provides a specific number of monthly export events.
Redirects export events

For a full overview of how Duplify counts export events, see our Export events reference guide.
