Options for exporting the Shopify customer list with Duplify

Each time a new customer places an order with your store, their name and other details are added to your customer list in Shopify.

Duplify will export the customer list, including key attributes such as metafields and metaobjects linked to customers.

Accounts versus Customer List

Shopify does not allow the creation of real customer accounts programmatically due to the requirement for manual verification and API limitations.

  • Customers will need to create an account on the new store themselves, as it is impossible to transfer login credentials directly.

  • Duplify will export the Customer list and information associated with each customer.

Options

Duplify exports the list of customers and their profile information, including email addresses, shipping and billing addresses, tags, notes, Metafields, Metaobjects, and other details associated with the customer.

Metafields and Metaobjects

  • New - Use the checkboxes to include customer Metafields and Metaobjects. This will copy the data information associated with your customers.

Export Events

Duplify determines the size of your source store's export by tracking export events, each representing one data item or file.

Your selected plan provides a specific number of monthly export events. Each plan offers a generous amount of points for export events. See pricing and plans for more details.
